01Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Price Bolo mobile application and website (together, the “Service”), operated by Price Bolo (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, installing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to use the Service.
02What Price Bolo does
Price Bolo is a price-intelligence tool. It helps you:
- view historical price information for products listed on third-party retail platforms;
- receive indicative “Buy or Wait” assessments and price-drop alerts;
- find visually similar products across third-party stores;
- compare grocery basket totals across third-party quick-commerce services; and
- browse third-party stores through an in-app browser with contextual price information.
Price Bolo is an information service only. All purchases are made directly with the relevant retailer, on the retailer’s own terms. We are not a party to any transaction between you and a retailer.
03Prices are shown “as is”
All prices, price histories, discounts, availability data, delivery estimates and “Buy or Wait” verdicts are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind. Prices are collected from publicly available third-party listings and may be delayed, incomplete, cached, regionally different or simply wrong.
- The price you see in Price Bolo may differ from the price at checkout on the retailer’s platform. The retailer’s checkout price always prevails.
- Historical charts and verdicts are analytical estimates, not financial advice, price promises or guarantees of future pricing.
- We do not guarantee that any product is in stock, deliverable to your location, or accurately described by the retailer.
You are responsible for verifying the final price, product details and terms on the retailer’s platform before purchasing.
04No retailer affiliation
Price Bolo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Myntra, Ajio, Croma, JioMart, Blinkit, Instamart, Zepto or any other retailer or platform referenced in the Service. All trademarks, brand names and logos remain the property of their respective owners and are used solely to identify the source of publicly listed offers.
Links from the Service to retailer platforms are provided for convenience. Your use of a retailer’s platform is governed by that retailer’s own terms and privacy policy.
05Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, harvest, resell or redistribute data from the Service, or access it by automated means other than the app itself;
- reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the Service or its security features;
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any third party’s rights;
- upload content (including photos for visual search) that you do not have the right to use, or that is unlawful or harmful.
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
06Intellectual property
The Service — including its design, software, text, graphics and the “Price Bolo” name and mark — is owned by Price Bolo or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Third-party product data, images and trademarks displayed within the Service belong to their respective owners.
07Disclaimers & limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Price Bolo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages — including money lost by relying on displayed prices, missed deals, purchase decisions, or unavailability of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the preceding 12 months (which, for a free service, may be zero).
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
08Changes to the service and these terms
We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including the set of supported stores. We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated in the app or on this page, and continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
09Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts located in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have.
